For Everyone...

I'd like to spread the word about a Genetic Disease called Progeria. It effects 1 in 8 million children around the world. So basically, the facts are that there are somewhere around 35-40 children that suffer from this rare but fatal disease. Now, I'm sure a lot of you have seen the movie Jack starring Robin Williams. I'm guessing he had this disease maybe something similar minus the special facial/skin features in these children, but anyways, the disease ages children 7 or 8 times faster than a normal child. Most children dont live through their teen years (average lifespan is 13 years) and are normally diagnosed at 18-24 months.

You can get MUCH more information from The Progeria Research Foundation (PRF). This is a very good cause and I suggest you just take a look at it and pass along the information to others. The research will not only help these children, but it can help you. They're finding out how aging in the heart and organs happens and have actually found the gene in the DNA code for Progeria.

Hello.

Hello. I'm Kim..this is my journal. All my recent posts are Friend's Only and I'm working on making the rest of my journal Friend's Only. If you would like to be able to read about my recent happenings, add me to your friend's list or leave me a comment here and I'll add you back. I'm a fun person, but I have my bad days just like everyone else.

I feel like I'm burning in hell, damnit!

My mother was cold. So she decides to turn on the heater (You need to remember, I'm in Texas, it NEVER gets cold. and it is NOT friggin cold right now.). Well, she left to go to the grocery store, and left Michele and I to burn in this house. We are not allowed to turn it off. FUCKING HELL. It's hot.

Ha! I knew it.

My mother and father are still in Waco....takes about 4 hours to drive back...they won't be home until 5pm or 6 easy. Ha...good for the Kimmy. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

anyone know a good site for Chinese symbols for words?? :-\ I wanna make an Icon, but it doesn't seem to be woooorking! Waaaaaaaah!

if you have free time...

You can surely look around the internet for a biiig (like the size picture that would fit in your browser....) picture of Gary the snail...*wink*

....my icon is Gary...if you don't watch Spongebob Squarepants...

Yes, I forgot something!

I watched Pay It Forward. What a GREAT movie! I mean, seriously. I was almost in tears at the end. I RARELY cry during movies...the only one I can think of that I cried during was Simon Birch. It was such a cute idea, and made me feel all warm and gooey inside. 'twas a great thing for the Kimmy. Although. I wish the end didn't have to be the way it was.

Julie, Joe, and Greg are downstairs. Bleh. I don't like Greg. He's a jerk. Hmm...I'm going to stay up as late as I can so I don't have to go to church with Julie, because I'm afraid I'll see SOMEONE. Bah. I'm a loser. Oh well.

I still need help with my last entry's problem thing... :-\

Yeah, I'm trying to edit my website so it'll look cool...because it SUCKS. HA! ;)
If you have one picture, and that's all you want for the background, how do you make it so there aren't a million little pictures...meaning, how do you just make the words scroll, and not the background and works scroll. I think coypixie has hers set up like that. Any one know what the heck I'm talking about?? I want to do that for my website (i'm using Netscape Composer...)

Thanks

Wooo hooo!

I just found the greatest icon in the world...LOOKIE!
